- Public Gallery Free Wallpaper: Wallpaper is free for personal use as desktop wallpaper. Download them for all your personal computers, all we ask is that you don’t print, publish or distribute them. If you’d like others to enjoy the Public Gallery Free Wallpaper, just email them a link to download it from this website.
- Members Gallery Wallpaper: Member Wallpapers & ‘Free Daily’ Wallpapers may not be distributed, published, printed or used on any computer other than your personal computers (ie computers you own and/or use at work). Use them on your home computers and your work computers, but please don’t hand the wallpapers around to others, instead give them a link to the Public Gallery so they can download the free wallpapers for themselves.
- Can I get a refund on my membership if I’m not happy?
- Sorry no. Spend a little time looking at all the free & members wallpapers to make sure you *really* want a membership before you pay for one.
- How will I know I’ll like the wallpaper in the Members’ gallery?
- Our website allows you to browse the complete members’ gallery including a big preview image, you just can’t download them. You know exactly what you’re going to get with a membership.
- How do I download wallpaper?
- Click on the size, screen and orientation you require:
- **Windows** When the full size image appears you can either right click and save the image or the quick & easiest way is to right click the image and choose “Set as Desktop Background” (For multiple monitors choose ‘Tile’ as the sizing method)
- **OS X** When the full size image appears you can either drag it to the desktop, right click and save the image or right click the image and choose “Use Image as Desktop Picture”
- How do I use multiple screen wallpapers?
- **Windows** When the full size image appears you can either right click and save the image or the quick & easiest way is to right click the image and choose “Set as Desktop Background” Choose ‘Tile’ as the sizing method.
- **OS X** Save each screen in the correct resolution to your computer. Right click the desktop and select “Change Desktop Background…”. Dialogs will open on each screen, select the correct wallpaper on the respective screen’s selection dialogs.
- What resolution and orientation wallpaper should I download?
- Beneath the large thumbnail on the single wallpaper pages we’ve highlighted your monitor size. For multiple monitors on Windows you’ll need the “single” multi-screen image, if you’re running OS X you’ll need individual files (Left, Right etc).
- Will you continue updating the members’ gallery?
- Yes, after a free daily wallpaper’s free period is over, it’s moved to the members’ gallery where it’s available to members during their membership period.
- Why are the images I download different to the preview image?
- The preview image is in dual monitor 4:3 format. If you choose a single screen wallpaper it’ll be cropped, if you’re using triple screen wallpaper the image will be extended.
- What sizes are the wallpapers available in?
- *Every* Panedia desktop wallpaper comes in the same array of sizes from 800 x 600 to 2560 x 1600 in 4:3, 5:4 and widescreen formats, single, dual and triple screen formats. Members’ also get access to the huge original files that you can cut your own wallpapers out of.
- How is the site organised?
- Every wallpaper is split between either the members’ or public gallery. The public gallery is updated sporadically but wallpaper there is available free to everyone. The wallpaper is the same super high quality and it’s available in the same vast array of sizes and screen setups. The members’ gallery is updated daily with each new wallpaper available free for one day only before being permanently added for members’. On top of that each wallpaper is added to a broad category and is tagged with 4 or 5 more specific tags. Wallpaper can be browsed by category or tag to easily find what you’re looking for.
- What’s the deal with this free daily thing?
- The members’ gallery is updated daily and for that day the wallpaper is free for anyone to download. After that day it’s moved to its permanent home in the members’ gallery for members to download whenever they like.
- Can I use your images for…?
- Probably not, but contact us here to ask anyway. We’re still developing our policies on exactly what we will & won’t allow. We’re also working on print & commercial licensing sites which will use some of the same content.
